Manager/Director Title: Technical Information Team Leader
Primary Purpose of Job:
The Technical Information Advisor will be responsible for the comprehensive and efficient response to all technical enquiries from internal and external customers with a focus on the French market.
Main duties/responsibilities:
• Provide an efficient and professional response to technical enquiries from all internal and external customers
• Provide coherent and comprehensive technical support to other departments as required
• Maintain an accurate product database, both hard and soft copy database
• Ensuring that the most recent approved product information is included in the database
• Facilitate the translation of product and technical information including quality checks on translations received from the translators
• Check Controlled Drug (CD) calculations of products on the database to ensure accuracy and validate and sign CD import licences
• Respond to Quality Complaints, Adverse Drug Reactions and Product Recalls in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that regulations and process are adhered to
• Write and review relevant SOPs as required
• Assist the Quality Assurance Team to ensure TSE compliance of all COMPANY products
• Provide cover for the Technical Information team members as appropriate
• Ensure continual professional development is maintained and systems are improved appropriately
• Review of Medical Information and Adverse Drug reaction agreements, making recommendations and implementing changes as required
Achievements/Qualifications/Experience:
• Registered Pharmacist and experience of practice within France
• Proven understanding of ATU Nominative and / or Cohort processes
• Proven experience of working to meet high standards within a drug information environment and providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to be highly accurate and good attention to detail.
• Proven ability of being customer focused and ability to build relationships with key internal and external customers.
• Self Starter
• Pragmatic and work under pressure
• Fluent French
• Knowledge of researching data on the Internet.
